My Li’l Sis
Just got back from a weekend in Colorado for my little sister’s graduation. She graduated on Friday from the University of Colorado Boulder with a Degree in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration. It sounds cheesy but I’m REALLY Proud of her. She not only managed to survive 4 1/2 years at CU (which, for as big a party school as it is, is no small feat) but she did it with flying colors – she even got personal email from her Advanced Business Law professor on friday saying that she had earned a solid A and that he would be more than happy to write any recommendations she needed.
‘Atta girl Katie – WAY TO KICK ASS!
( I also got to see my little brother, his wife Jacki, and their son Justin which was very cool too ! 🙂 )
They Got Him
In case you haven’t heard:
U.S. forces capture Saddam near Tikrit, capping one of the most intense manhunts in history
Regardless of what my position is on this war or the administration’s handling of it (and i’m having to bite my tongue to not go off on THAT) I am glad he’s in custody. Having him unaccounted for was muddying the whole process for everyone involved (supporters and those less supportive! ;)). Hopefully we can move on from here!
It Keeps getting worse
As if the what they did to Cat in the Hat wasn’t enough.. Now we have THIS to look forward to:
I’m a HUGE fan of kids movies and this even looks lame to ME
A little knowledge..
My Sister Sent me this and it made me chuckle so I figured I’d share… Who doesn’t like a little useless nonesense on a Saturday afternoon? 🙂
YOU THINK YOU KNOW EVERYTHING??
- A dime has 118 ridges around the edge.
- A cat has 32 muscles in each ear.
- A crocodile cannot stick its tongue out.
- A dragonfly has a life span of 24 hours.
- A goldfish has a memory span of three seconds.

A Few Funnies for a Thursday
This is too damn funny:
And This I’ve seen before but figured I’d post it for the geeks among us. (According to snopes it’s of dubius origin but who cares)
