HAPPY New Year
Realized I never wished y’all a happy new year – man I’m just not as prolific with posting to my blog these days as I have been in the past.
My new years eve / day this year was JUST what I needed – low key with good friends… I decided a little while ago that this year I didn’t want to spend New Years eve doing things that would keep me out till sunrise and ruin my next day. I’ve never been much of a fan of New Years eve in general – it always seems that there is such a huge expectation to do something grand and it’s pretty hard to live up to expectations.
So, as a happy middle ground between a crazy party night and hiding in a corner, we ended up having some good friends over for Dinner and drinks. It was PERFECT. Our friend Stephen came up from from LA and Matt, Brian, Matt and Bill all came over to our place. We bought 2 Fondue pots and a 70s new years.. we made Beef, Pork, Cheese, and Chocolate Fondue and had cocktails. All that was followed up by an AMAZING Tiramisu and left over Cherry Yum Yum… Was GREAT… Just hung out and made a social event of cooking and hanging out with some of my best friends in the world…
The next day we did NOTHING.. was GREAT… Walked over to Tin Pan for breakfast with Stephen and relaxed the rest of the day… Last night kevin and I watched Pirates of the Caribbean while Stephen went out and… er.. um.. enjoyed San Francisco… 🙂
GREAT new year…
As to resolutions – who knows.. Keep it together and smell the roses a little more..

Happy New Year!
Love the photos! What’s up with the belly theme? Looks like you guys had lots of fun!
Don’t ask me – the belly thing was Brian’s doing! 🙂
Looks like a low-key, fun evening with friends. Wish I could of been there. The bellies theme…In the words of Sarah Mclachlan, you were all….”building a mystery”.

Bellies here, bellies there… Just think, some people only wear party hats – Was everyone to bring someone named Matt to the party? Glad everyone had a wonderful time.
Is this going to become an ongoing theme?
It does look like it was fun though!
